Candor is a dating app for adults 18 and older. It introduces people based on personality, relationship goals and conversation instead of photos. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.

Candor does not collect photos, precise location, contacts or advertising identifiers in this version. Profiles contain no photos and may not contain emails, phone numbers or links.
How matching works
We compare relationship goals, interests, the words in your descriptions, mutual age and gender preferences, and distance. Matching is done on our servers. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or track you across other apps.
18+ only
You must confirm you are at least 18 and provide a birth date that shows it. We remove accounts we learn belong to anyone under 18.
Safety, blocking and reporting
Every introduction has Block and Report. Blocked people cannot see you or be introduced to you. Reports are reviewed by a person and kept confidential from the reported member.
Child safety standards
Candor prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation and any use of the app by minors. Members can report profiles inside the app, and we remove offending accounts and report apparent child exploitation to the appropriate authorities. Child-safety contact: benham1984@gmail.com.
Retention and deletion
You can delete your account in the app (Privacy, then Delete account). This removes your profile, blocks and the reports you filed. You can also pause your profile at any time. To request deletion without the app, email the address below.
Security
Data is stored on secure servers and sent over encrypted connections. No method is perfectly secure.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above.
